This Scandinavian collection of aluminium boats ranges from the 100hp Finnmaster Husky R6 to the 300hp R8 version
Cheshire-based brokerage firm Midway Boats has announced that it will be importing the Finnmaster Husky R-series into the UK. Built in Finland, this range of aluminium open boats includes the R6, R7 and R8, with engine options from 100-300hp.
Prices for the entry-level R6 start at less than £30,000, while a top-end R8 model with the largest engine and Easi-Loader trailer will set you back just under £58,000.
Key features include a bowrider section, twin rotating bucket seats, plenty of storage space and seating for up to nine people. Designed to ride smoothly through rough seas, the Finnmaster Husky range has an RCD rating of Category C.
In a statement, the company explained where the name came from: “When we started to sketch out our new series, features such as reliability, safety, endurance and durability were the most important. The same characteristics that apply to husky dogs, hence the name.”
