KPMG says it is sifting through offers for the boat dealer
Financial services firm KPMG says it has received “a lot of offers” for ailing boat dealer PetersOpal.
KPMG set a deadline of last Friday for offers for the company, which went into administration earlier this month with the loss of 130 jobs.
A spokesman told MBM that KPMG was currently sifting through the bids, and “looking at things like conditionality, and establishing which offers are the best”.
Offers for parts of the firm and the business as a whole had been received, the spokesman said.
A formal announcement on the different bids is expected on Friday.
