Despite poor weather conditions, James Sheppard and Neil Sinclair driving King of Shaves won the penultimate round of the Honda Four-Stroke series in Largs, Ayrshire, on July 28. The result, added to their earlier successes in the Welsh, English and Irish grand prix, also qualified the pair for the inaugural Four Nations Cup.
The opening lead in the multi-lap contest was initially taken by Jack Glendinning and Simon Bucknall driving Warm-up Undertile Heating and Jobs@.Com driven by David and Keith Baker. Sinclair however took it easy until the final lap when he romped passed to take the chequered flag and collect the overall prize.
The result maintains the overall points position of King of Shaves in the Honda Four-Stroke Championship ahead of the Cowes Classic: the final round in the series on August 24.
