Hurry for places at Isle of Wight event...
The Royal Yachting Association autumn muster will be taking place on 28 and 29 October 2006 at Cowes Yacht Haven, Isle of Wight.
Whether you are a sailor or motor boater, a boat owner or a charterer, you are invited to join the RYA Cruising Team at the first ever joint power and sail event.
Over the course of the weekend they will be offering boat handling masterclasses with Sealine Sea School, individual tuition from ICOM on routine DSC calling, Raymarine will be offering advise on electronic navigation, Ocean Safety will be “setting off” a liferaft and MBY journalist Tim Bartlett will be giving a group Masterclass on the use of Radar.
Attendance at these sessions is included in the entry fee, which also covers one night’s berthing at Cowes Yacht Haven, entry (for two people) to the Saturday night “bash”, a welcome drink sponsored by Alpine Electronics, hot buffet dinner and disco and free entry in to our Muster raffle where you will have the chance to win an ICOM IC-M31 Handheld VHF or 2 Ocean Safety Kru Lifejackets.
This is also your opportunity to meet our Chief Cruising Instructor Simon Jinks – who is responsible for both the Sail and Motor Cruising RYA Training Schemes.
