This weekend will see the return of the Broom Boat Show, with several notable models due to go on display in Brundall, including 1957 model Jenny Wren
Broom Boats of Brundall has revealed details of its upcoming Broom Boat Show, which runs from 1000 to 1600 this Saturday (April 16).
Hosted at the company’s Norfolk HQ, the 2016 Broom Boat Show will feature the entire new boats range, as well as a selection of used models, including the notable 1957 Broom Jenny Wren.
The restored model recently starred in the BBC One show Holidays of a Lifetime with Len Goodman and Fiona Phillips.
Jenny Wren (pictured below) is the showcase project for Broom’s new Heritage Marine Services division, which specialises in restoring classic models.
Greg Houlston, general manager of Broom Marine Services, said “We have some of the best boat builders in the country here at Broom, who have been building boats with us since the 1960s, so launching a heritage division was a natural step for us”.
In addition to witnessing the official unveiling of Jenny Wren at 1200, showgoers will also be able to enjoy on-site entertainment, take a factory tour, or go on a short trip along the river to experience a Broom model in its natural environment.
