The Boat Museum on the River Mersey is holding a series of events and exhibitions for children over the summer holidays.
The Boat Museum in Ellesmere Port on the River Mersey is holding a state-of-the-art interactive exhibition about the history of boats during the school holidays.
The exhibition, called How to Build a Boat, looks at the construction of boats from ancient coracles to the canal craft of today.
Managed by charity The Waterways Trust, the museum is undergoing a £1.4m refurbishment which will see the Grade II-listed Island Warehouse given a new roof and a floating pontoon bridge in the exhibition area.
