Paul Churchley, 48, is expected back in Plymouth this afternoon after travelling solo round Britain in his Merry Fisher 625
Paul Churchley is just hours away from completing his epic solo circumnavigation of Britain.
MBM reader Paul left Plymouth on 27 May, and at around 5pm this evening is set to return to the town after three months spent travelling around Britain in his Jeanneau Merry Fisher 625.
The 48 year old set off from Eastbourne early this morning, and was due to spend an evening in Poole, but a forecast of poor weather tomorrow convinced the computer engineer to just refuel in the town and plough on across Lyme Bay for home.
Assuming the conditions stay benign, Paul is expected to enter Plymouth Harbour between 5pm and 6pm.
Paul has blogged exhaustively about his trip , and taken hundreds of photos .
And even though the circumnavigation is almost complete, it’s not too late to sponsor Paul , who undertook this incredible adventure to raise money for the RNLI’s Train one, save many campaign.
