This year's London Boat Show will feature a special celebrity appearance from Hugh Bonneville, who will be cutting the ribbon on the brand new Sunseeker 131
It wouldn’t be the London Boat Show without a big-name star cutting the ribbon on a brand new Sunseeker yacht and this year’s show will be no exception, with Downton Abbey actor Hugh Bonneville due to do the honours.
Best known for his role as Robert Crawley, Earl of Grantham, Hugh will be appearing at the Excel Centre on Friday (January 8) to unveil the Sunseeker 131 Yacht.

Having recently filmed the final series of ITV period drama series Downton Abbey, Hugh Bonneville said that he was “really delighted” to be joining Sunseeeker at the London Boat show and described the new launch as “momentous”.
He will be joined in the opening of the Sunseeker stand by company founder Robert Braithwaite CBE, while musical entertainment will come from vocal harmony group The Overtones (pictured below).
Advance tickets to the London Boat Show are on sale now, with prices starting at £20 per adult for the opening day. Those wanting to see Hugh Bonneville should head to Stand G070 at 1200 on Friday January 8.
