Horizon have appointed a London dealer.
Horizon Super Yachts London hopes to be able to cater for clients in the city who do not want to travel south to make a boat purchase.
“We’ve set up the business to provide an opportunity for people who work or live
in London to visit, view and ultimately acquire luxury motor yachts,” said Mike
Northall, one of three technology entrepreneurs who have sold their business to start the company.
And tomorrow (Thursday 21 June) the firm’s first yacht, a Horizon 20m, will arrive at St Katherine’s Dock as the final part of a tour promoting biodiesel.
The boat, fuelled by biodiesel, started from Devon earlier this month and has visited marinas in popular locations along the South Coast.
Horizon UK staff and others have been on hand to talk to interested customers and spread the word about the benefits of the environmentally friendly fuel.
“The aim is to highlight the benefits and ease of using bio-diesel in marine
engines, particularly in the light of rising fuel prices and increasing
environmental pressures,” said Mike.
