Fans of powerboat racing can catch all the Honda Formula 4-Stroke Series on Channel 4 and Sky Sports this summer.

Kicking off in July with full coverage of the 150hp Class from The Steam Packet Company Isle of Man Grand Prix, future broadcasts have now been confirmed on Channel 4 as well as Sky Sports 1, 2 and 3 Digital plus Sky Sports Xtra.

In addition to coverage of the 150hp class on Sky, the 225hp championship will be broadcast on Channel 4’s coveted weekend morning slot later this autumn.

Martin Sanders, General Manager Honda (UK) Power Equipment, says: “We are thrilled the Honda Formula 4-Stroke Series is again receiving recognition from both Channel 4 and Sky Sports.

“Returning to national television for the sixth year running not only highlights the credibility of the sport but also demonstrates the growing popularity of powerboating in the UK. Audience figures are increasing year-on-year, replicated by the Series itself which this year sees more boats racing than ever before.

“It is testimony not only to the professionalism and the excitement of the Series but also to everyone involved who has helped make it a success since it first started in 1999.”

Sky Sports is yet to confirm transmission dates for the final round to be staged in Liverpool during early September, schedules of currently confirmed coverage are listed below.
