Premier Marinas has announced that it will be hosting a new Motorboat and RIB show at Gosport Marina in March
Premier Marinas is due to launch a new boat show this spring, with the first Premier Motorboat and RIB Show taking over Gosport Marina for the weekend of March 12-13.
The free event will showcase the marina’s recently expanded dry stack facility (pictured above), which can hold up to 148 boats.
Models suitable for dry stacking will be on display, including sportsboats from the likes of Ribeye, Bavaria, Parker and Jeanneau.
The marina’s forklift specialists will be carrying out on-site demonstrations to show how quickly they can launch a dry stack boat.
Visitors will also be able to enter a prize draw to win a year’s free dry-stack storage for a boat measuring up to 8m.
Premier Marinas has dry stack facilities at Swanwick Marina and Falmouth Marina, as well as Gosport.
Graham Bristowe, general manager of Portsmouth Harbour, said: “Gosport is the perfect site for dry stack as it offers 24-hour immediate access to the world-renowned boating pleasures of the Solent.”
He added that the event will help to showcase the benefits of dry stacks as an alternative to towing your sportsboat to the marina.
Other upcoming Premier Marinas events include the Pre-Season New & Used Boat Show (March 5-6 at Swanwick Marina), Southsea Marina Fishing Show (April 30) and British Motor Yacht Show (May 20-22).
UPDATE: Premier Marinas has now sold all the exhibitor space for the Motorboat & RIB show, both on shore and on water.
Additions to the list of boats on display include the Axopar 28, Windy 29 Coho, Draco 27RS, Brig Navigator 610 and Karnic Bluewater 2050. The full line-up can be viewed on the Premier Marinas website.
