Garmin to provide electronic navigation aids to Fairline
Garmin have announced that they will now provide Fairline with both electronic navigation and communication equipment.
The products available across the Fairline range will include the touchscreen GSMAP 5000 chartplotter, high definition radar, auto pilot systems and VHF radios.
The new deal comes at the same time as Garmin celebrate their 20th Anniversary in the marine electronics industry.
Sales manager of Garmin Nigel Craine says: “The association of these world class marques brings together two brands that work constantly to innovate and provide products of the highest standards and superior levels of quality.
“The Garmin marine family of products provide the latest technology and detailed design, whether you want to use our GPSMAP? 5012 chartplotters to overlay radar onto your marine charts or cruise along with minimal effort using the GHP? 10 autopilot.”
The head of marketing at Fairline Miles Moorhouse says: “We will be introducing Garmin products into the standard specifications for each of our motor yachts from the 2010 model year onwards.
“We are passionate about consistently delivering the highest standards of service, design and quality across the entire Fairline range and look forward to working closely with Garmin.”
