And MBM reader wants to hear from you if you risk losing money if company goes under
Potential buyers have until Friday to make a bid for ailing boat dealer PetersOpal.
The company went into administration last week, a month after Sealine announced it had terminated its distribution contract with the firm.
The administrator, KPMG, would not be drawn on what would happen if no buyer came forward by Friday, insisting that “the administrators’ intention is to sell the business as a going concern”.
KPMG is also unsure at this time of just how many boaters had paid deposits to PetersOpal before it went belly up, only saying that a list was currently being collated.
Those who do have deposits with the firm are urged to contact Will Lewis in the Chichester office of PetersOpal on 01243 511381.
Meanwhile, MBM reader Angela Wild, who risks losing a substantial sum if the business goes under, has asked that others in her position get in touch.
If you have been exposed financially by the administration of PetersOpal, contact MBM on mbm@ipcmedia.com, and we will forward your details on to Angela.
