An announcement is expected on Monday 25 February regarding future ownership of the UK sportsboat builder
It looks as if a buyer has been found for the UK sportsboat builder Fletcher. Administrators Deloitte & Touche, who were called into the Staffordshire-based boatbuilder on January 3, told IBI that they expect to make an official announcement on Monday naming the new owner of the boatbuilder.
The Fletcher sportsboat and its Dell Quay dory ranges stretch from 4.3-7.6m (14-25ft). Fletcher is also a major supplier of industrial mouldings, producing such things as coach bodies, wind-generator parts and simulator capsules. Boatbuilding accounts for around 30 per cent of its undisclosed turnover.
