Sneak preview of new 37m yacht to be unveiled at the London boat show
These are the first pictures of Sunseeker’s vast new 37m superyacht. Taken this weekend at Poole Quay, they show the boat undergoing final fit-out prior to her London boat show launch. This is the largest boat ever built by Sunseeker and is described by the company’s managing director Robert Braithwaite as representing “the very best of British marine design and shipbuilding”.
At a fraction under 124ft long with three covered decks and a flybridge, it dwarfs even the Predator 108. One of the most unusual design features are the huge diagonal windows in the forward part of the deck moulding. These form part of the full beam owner’s suite and should ensure the occupant enjoys some of the most spectacular bedside views of any property in the world! The four other guest suites are located in the lower deck.
Twin 2800hp engines and a fuel capacity of up to 29,000 litres give a top speed of around 26 knots and a cruising range of 1,500 miles. The only downside – a price of £8.7 million. The boat will be formally launched at the London boat show in Excel on 5 January, although viewings will be by appointment only.
