Sunseeker looks set to hog the limelight at this year’s PSP Southampton Boat Show with this outrageous new Predator 80 sportscruiser.
Featuring dramatic new styling and a top speed of up to 46 knots, it promises to set new standards for both pace and space.
The big Z-shaped hull window is to become a key styling feature of all future Predators as are the carbon-fibre-effect mullions and blacked-out hardtop. A central strip of smoked glass runs the full length of deck saloon.
The big new foredeck dinette and raised sunbathing area have been carried over from the successful 28 Metre Yacht series and are backed up by yet more aft sunpads overlooking the hydraulic bathing platform.
Designers have also made space for a huge tender garage large enough to handle a mini-RIB, PWC and Seabob.
Down below the full-beam owner’s suite gains a spectacular walk-in wardrobe and soft seating area with three further guest cabins forward and another twin guest/crew cabin aft.
The standard boat will be powered by a pair of big diesels on traditional shafts giving a top speed of 30+ knots but speed freaks can opt for Arneson surface drives to realise the hull’s full 46-knot potential.
