Dates revealed for show at Port Solent Marina
The Festival of Power & Sail will be held at Port Solent Marina from 29th – 31st May.
Exhibitors who have agreed to attend include Walton Marine, Bates Wharf, Maritimo, Premier and Ancasta International Boat Sales.
Boats on show will range from Jeanneau Merry Fishers and their Prestige models to the Australian built Maritimo 48. Selections from the Sessa range will also be on show as well as a range of Elan and Bavaria motor boats. Hanse will exhibit Hanse Yachts and Fjord.
Organisers say: “The show is a well recognised event held annually at Port Solent Marina. It has been extended to include sail boats for 2009. We are not only working closely with exhibitors but also with The Boardwalk to make the event bigger and better, with plenty to see and do throughout the weekend.”
Other attractions will include a display by The Joint Services Adventurous Sail Training Centre of a Challenge 67 with crew from the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force conducting tours for customers.
The additional pull of a wide array of restaurants and bars as well as shops should ensure the show provides a great weekend out.
The show will open daily, 10am – 5pm with free entry and free parking.
