The new Ferretti 850 will launch alongside an all new 45-footer at the Cannes show
Life on the inside
Inside the saloon the lounging and dining space occupies over 32ft 8in (10m) with low-level furniture and masses of glazing ensuring natural light is maximised.
There are two layout options for the galley, which can be located either forward of the bulkhead on the main deck and partitioned off for crew to use or more amidships with a bar area more conducive to sociable owner/operator use and angled primarily at the North American market.
The pilothouse can be accessed from both the central companionway and starboard side deck and easily accessed by the captain and crew whose quarters are tucked right forward in the bow.
Below decks the master cabin sprawls across the entire beam of the 850 with a similarly chic décor to the classy saloon.
A discreet opening in the bulkhead leads through to a spacious ensuite complete with his and hers sinks and a roomy shower stall.
Elsewhere there are two double cabins and a bunk cabin for guests, all of which have access to their own bathrooms.
When it comes to propulsion Ferretti has kept things simple with the choice of two options from MAN, either the V12 1,800hp or V12 1,900hp motors with the latter capable of pushing the 850 to 31 knots flat out.
