Fairline Targa 45 Open will kick off Fairline's new Open range

Fairline’s Targa 45 Open will replace their Targa 44 Gran Turismo and Targa 44 Open when it’s launched in spring 2013.
The 45 Open kick-starts a range which will eventually include four models, though details of how this will develop are sparse at the moment.
Despite its name, the new boat will not be a truly open sportscruiser as, like the current Targa 38 GT, it will be fitted with a sliding fabric roof.
Fairline’s main aim with the 45 is to create a hugely sociable and useable cockpit which includes a large sunpad above the tender garage (which is large enough for a Williams 285 jet-RIB), a generous swathe of seating for dining and forward facing seats adjacent to the helm.
Below decks there are some subtle changes – the ensuite midships cabin is now the master leaving an ensuite double forward for guests.
The midships cabin also gets a new set of hull windows to pump as much light in to the space as possible.
Whereas the former Targa 44 range could be specified with either sterndrives or Volvo Penta IPS, the 45 Open will be restricted to IPS only.
