New 55 will be released in late 2008, according to Fairline
What you’re looking at is Fairline’s new Squadron 55, details of which were released to the world at the ongoing Belgian Boat Show .
The boat replaces the old Squadron 55, which was first launched in September 1995 and became one of the most successful Fairline models to date.
The new 55 is due for release late this year, and will feature a full-beam master cabin, an ‘electro-opaque’ wall for the master cabin’s en-suite, and “expansive entertaining areas throughout”, according to Fairline.
The new boat will be available with twin Volvo Penta D12-800 EVC diesels and is expected to reach speeds of 32 knots.
