The outboard motor manufacturer is drumming up the hype for its latest product launch
With a liberal sprinkling of provocative words like ‘revolutionary’, ‘radical’, and ‘audacious’, you could be forgiven for thinking that Evinrude is planning to launch a spaceship, rather than an outboard motor.
But that is the tone that the marine specialist strikes in its latest teaser video for the upcoming E-TEC range.
To be fair Evinrude’s last launch saw the much-heralded return of the two-stroke engine to the outboard sector, which cut weights and noise while increasing power.
And the company clearly doesn’t believe in understatement, with the upcoming launch heralding “a new era in the outboard business” and a desire to “reinvent the industry”.
Those hoping to find out what all the fuss is about should head along to the Evinrude Dealer Club launch event in Milwaukee over the weekend of 13-15 June.
