Euphoria Serie 6 power catamaran concept from Privilege Marine
The Euphoria Serie 6 power catamaran could be the boat to tempt people away from their sleek and sexy monohulls if it makes it into production.
We can safely say that we haven’t seen many better looking power cat designs drop into the MBY inbox.
Designed by Franck Darnet Design and seasoned catamaran builders Privilege Yachts, which has been building power and sailing cats from its French base since 1985, the Serie 6 sets the tone for a range which will eventually span 50 to 75 feet.
Details are pretty thin on the ground at the moment but initial renderings show sleek exterior architecture mixed with plenty of hull glazing for the cabins and a usefully large flybridge.
The saloon is also packed with glazing and looks to have a sociable open-plan layout with a U-shaped galley and spacious dinette forward.
Privilege promises strong performance from the 60ft Serie 6 as well as plenty of scope for owner customisation on the interior.
The yard freely admits that it will take a serious buyer to commit to the project and get the ball rolling on the Euphoria Serie 6 but these initial images show a lot of potential. We will keep an eye on it with interest.
