Two former Sealine employees to run company's offices in Port Solent
Essex Boatyards has taken over Fairline sales for the South Coast.
Set to run the company’s new operation in Port Solent will be former Sealine dealers Trevor Betts and Mathew Attree who lost their jobs when Sealine closed its retail arm in December.
“As soon as the announcement was made [that Sealine was closing its retail arm] we got in contact with Trevor and Mathew,” Essex Boatyards MD James Parke told MBM.
“I’ve known them for a few years and I know they’ll be perfect for the job.”
The two ex-Sealine employees “will be attending the London Boat Show and look forward to greeting customers, old and new, on the Fairline stand,” Parke said.
The company expects its Port Solent offices to be open by April or May.
