Have you ever tasted Nelson-era food?
The National Maritime Museum in Falmouth is putting on a buffet dinner featuring food reminiscent of the days of Nelson.
The dinner, on 4 November, marks the date in 1805 on which the ship HMS Pickle arrived in Falmouth bearing the news of Nelson’s death.
A spokesman said: “Our chefs will take you back 200 years, with food reminiscent of the era in a historical theatrical buffet you’ll not want to forget. Enjoy a taste of history on this momentous night.”
