2013 Cowes to Monte Carlo race gets upgraded
The 2013 Cowes to Monte Carlo Powerboart Grand Prix has been granted full international recognition by the Union International Motonautique (UIM), the world governing body of powerboat racing.
The decision by the UIM international offshore committee in Abu Dhabi was made unanimously by its members, and means the event will now be known as the UIM Cowes to Monte Carlo World Cup 2013.
