Sunseeker will launch the new Predator 50 and Predator 74 at the German show
Stand 6/B61
Sunseeker will launch two new Predators at Düsseldorf and the new flagship of the range is the 75ft (23m), 53-tonne Predator 74.
Despite its size, the 74 is a true performance boat, capable of 40 knots with the largest twin MAN V12 1,900hp engine option. Your local fuel pump operator will be thrilled.
Away from the throttles, the exterior structure appears to be made of almost as much glass as GRP. The topsides, saloon and roof are full of the stuff, which should make for a spectacularly bright interior.
A main deck that opens out into the cockpit gives unbroken access and a lovely flow of air through the saloon.
There is the option to have four cabins below decks but the 74 has three as standard.
At the other end of the range, an all-new 50 arrives to claim the title of smallest Predator to date.
The performance isn’t as bonkers as its big sister’s, with twin Volvo Penta D8-600s good for 32 knots, but it certainly looks the part.
The cockpit layout is clever, incorporating a sunpad with a tender garage beneath. Opposite there is an aft-facing bench that offers sociable dining space.
There is the option to spec a barbecue on the transom, a fold-down bench and shower.
Below, two cabins are standard, but lose the lower dinette and you can replace it with a third bunk cabin.
