Cornish custom boat builder Cockwells has released images of its latest launch – a 9.5m Limousine tender
A new Cockwells launch is always something to get excited about, but this latest model shows off the sheer versatility of this Cornish yard.
The Cockwells 9.5m Limousine tender was designed to go with an 88m superyacht, hence the ultra-modern design, which contrasts with some of the firm’s more classically-styled motor yachts.
Created in Falmouth by in-house designers working in collaboration with naval architect Andrew Wolstenholme, the 9.5m Limousine tender features a carbon deck and superstructure to keep the weight down.
Power is provided by a single 370hp Yanmar engine, meaning that the two crew members and up to 12 passengers can comfortably zip across the water at around 36 knots.
The modern design is carried over to the interior styling, with eye-level panoramic windows, leather wall linings and warm wood highlights.
Key features include a Fusion marine stereo system, EmpirBus touch-screen dashboard, on-board heating and air conditioning.
Cockwells’ upcoming boat show appearances include the Jersey Boat Show and the London Yacht, Jet and Prestige Car Show (both in May).
