Enjoy free visitor berthing at Poole Harbour-based Cobbs Quay over the weekend of 13-14 April
MDL-owned Cobbs Quay Marina is joining forces with the RYA to host a family weekend as part of the Active Marina initiative on 13-14 April.
Active Marina is a scheme set up by the RYA to improve the competence and participation of boatowners within UK marinas. Over the weekend there’ll be plenty of boats to get on board, with ranges from Sunseeker, Ancasta, EP Barrus, Gibbs Marine, Stingray, and Boatylicious and Fine Design.
PTUK Powerboat Training will also be offering training sessions for those wanting to get on the water, while Cobbs Quay Berth Holders’ Association will be on site to discuss any queries from new or existing berthholders.
The RNLI will also be at the show with a selection of its lifeboats, and crew will be on hand to carry out safety checks and give tours of the facilities, while Chalis Fire Engineering will be giving extinguisher demos.
Entry to the Poole Harbour-based marina will be free, as will visitor berthing. Those planning to take advantage of the free berths should contact Cobb’s Quay Marina in advance on 01202 674299.
