Boat brokerage firm Clipper Marine has launched a new promotion called Shield, which aims to lure in used boat buyers before the end of March
Clipper Marine is hoping to tempt used boat buyers with its new short-term promotion, Shield.
Anyone who buys a used boat from Clipper Marine will get fresh anti-fouling and new anodes fitted for free.
A cut and polish on the hull and topsides is also included, as well as servicing for the engine and outdrives, with the latter covered by a three-month warranty.
The last extra incentive that Clipper Marine has thrown in is a free four-month membership of Sea Start, which provides breakdown support between Selsey Bill and the West Country.
Clipper Marine recently won the Garmin Award for Outstanding Customer Service at the 2015 Motor Boat Awards (pictured above).
The firm imports new Bavaria models into the UK and also deals with a wide range of used models from other makes.
Matt Attree, director at Clipper Marine, explained that the promotion comes off the back of a particularly busy trading period for the brokerage.
“We’ve just had an incredible year for sales of used boats – the last six months of 2014 was our best ever trading period since we started the business seven years ago,” he explained.
The Shield promotion will be available until the end of March across all six Clipper Marine offices, which are located in Swanwick, Gosport, Port Solent, Ipswich, Poole and London.
UPDATE: Clipper Marine has now extended Shield to make it a permanent feature on all stock used boat sales.
