Gales Seafarers Ale, which raises funds for one of the UK’s leading maritime charities, is to be made available all year round. Commodore Barry Bryant, Director General, Seafarers UK, said, “I am thrilled that Fuller’s has decided to make Seafarers a permanent fixture.”
“It can help us raise even more funds for the many thousands of seafarers in distress.” £3 from every barrel sold will go to help people who have worked at sea, including serving and former members of the Royal Navy, Merchant Navy and fishing fleets and their families.
John Roberts, managing director of The Fuller’s Beer Company, said, “Gales Seafarers has built up a strong following in its time as a seasonal beer and I’m delighted that we can launch it as a permanent addition to our year-round range of cask ales.”
