See the brand new facilities
Cardiff Marina opens its gates for a public open day on Saturday 4 July.
From 1-5pm people can visit the newly extended 350 berth marina and see the new facilities on offer for themselves.
From 3-5 July berths are available for only £5 a night.
For all berths secured on the day, the marina is offering a free lift-out and wash-off and the berth at the annual rate pro rata for the rest of the mooring year.
Situated on the International Sports Village site in Cardiff Bay, next door to the Olympic white water rafting and canoe slalom centre, the marina has just added another 150 berths to its facilities on the River Ely.
Each berth offers water, electricity and free Wi-Fi.
Entertainment on the day includes a free BBQ and refreshments, live music, a raffle with proceeds going to the RNLI and a selection of new and used boats for sale.
Director of Operations Rob Freemantle: “We are very proud of the facilities we offer at Cardiff Marina.
“Our spacious berths and sheltered location are perfect for boats of all sizes and boat owners of all abilities.
“We look forward to welcoming people to the marina for this event to see for themselves how our site has developed over the past two years.”
