The organisers of the Cannes Yachting Festival have launched a new private jet service to make it easier for billionaire buyers to make a flying visit
One of the big highlights of the boating calendar, the Cannes Yachting Festival will take place from September 8-13 this year, and the organisers have announced plans to up the luxury stakes.
This year, wealthy buyers can arrive in the utmost style thanks to the Cannes show’s new private jet transfer service.
Laid on in conjunction with luxury airline Wijet, the new jet taxi service can pick you up from any one of 1,200 different airports across Europe and includes exclusive rates for those visiting the show.
Other premium offerings include the Riviera card, which is new for 2015. Priced at €800, this grants visitors access to exclusive VIP champagne lounges, priority access to the most exclusive superyachts, a tour of the show by tender and helicopter transfers across the harbour.
This year’s Cannes Yachting festival is expected to have more than 550 models on display from the likes of Benetti, Fairline, San Lorenzo and many more.
More than 80 world premieres have already been confirmed for the show, including the Sunreef 70 powercat, Absolute Navetta 500, Prestige 680, Princess V57, Riva 76 and Azimut Magellano 66.
And for those whose budgets don’t quite stretch to the full VIP experience, day tickets are available from €15 (£11) per person.
