Deal available on new and used models
Customers buying new or second-hand boats from Ancasta get four months’ free cover from Sea Start, in a new deal between the two.
Sea Start is an on-the-water breakdown call-out service, operating 24/7 along the UK’s south coast and northern France.
Engineers use a fleet of offshore RIBs to answer call-outs ‘on average within less than an hour’, fixing faults in situ, either at sea or on the dockside.
As well as sailing ranges, Ancasta sell Bénéteau, Sealine and Bavaria motor yachts, along with brokerage boats.
Sea Start’s Managing Director Nick Eales says: “We are very pleased to have formed a partnership with such a key player in the yacht sales business.
“Ancasta’s high volume of yacht sales will introduce the benefits of Sea Start cover to many new users and we are optimistic that a high proportion will progress to full cover at the end of this period.”
Ancasta’s Nick Ryley says: “We are pleased to offer the Sea Start cover as it is a great service that will give confidence to our customers buying both new and used boats.
“The scheme will appeal particularly to our brokerage customers who in the first days of ownership have much to learn about their new boat.”
The free cover will be available from the launch date of the owner’s newly acquired yacht, even if that is some time later than the purchase date, meaning owners can benefit fully from the four months’ service.
A 12-month Sea Start subscription is available from £134.99 with no call-out fees.
