British Waterways announce a hefty investment in the 2011 boat show

British Waterways has announced they are investing £500,000 in the Liverpool Boat Show.

BW will fund the majority of an £800,000 project to install more than 600m of double-width, buoyancy-enhanced pontoons for the show in partnership with Marine Industry Events.

These will be sited along the perimeter of the Albert and Salthouse Docks to create the infrastructure for the Liverpool Boat Show in 2011.

After the show has finished they will become permanent moorings administered by British Waterways. They will also be able for use at future events.
