Twenty-six boats gather in Ramsgate to mark the start of the Holland Cruise

Position – Cruise assembly point, Ramsgate
Coming from near and far, boats assembled in Ramsgate harbour to mark the start of the Motor Boats Monthly Holland cruise.
With some new faces and some old, crews gathered and mingled for the inaugural cruise briefing at 1800hrs up at the Royal Temple Yacht Club. The Cruise Leader, Kim Hollamby addressed the fleet. The fleet has 26 boats in total, including the three control boats Time Flies, Calm Voyager and Kim’s recently acquired boat ‘Formanda’, a 30 year old Beecham Searider 45.

Tomorrow the fleet will depart for Nieuwpoort, Belgium where they will overnight. Then, weather permitting, on Monday the fleet will move to Holland, making for Delta Marina on the beautiful Veersmeer.
