One of the largest boat brokers in the UK has announced its latest partnership, which should see an influx of Princess yachts heading to Essex Marina
Essex-based brokerage Boats.co.uk has announced a new partnership with Princess Motor Yacht Sales.
The agreement replaces the firm’s previous 11-year agreement with Fairline Boats, which came to an end last week (April 23).
Boats.co.uk will now be selling the entire new Princess Yachts range, from the entry-level V39 sportscruiser up to the largest 40M superyacht, and offering part-exchange and after-sales support.
In addition to their existing HQ at Essex Marina, which will be known as Princess East Coast, the brokerage will be opening a new office at Salterns Marina, called Princess Poole, and a joint venture with Princess Motor Yacht Sales at Cala D’Or Marina in Mallorca.
James Barke, managing director of Boats.co.uk, said: “There is a real sense of excitement around the deal and we are looking forward to offering our clients access to the full Princess range, which allows our customers to choose boats in excess of 80ft for the first time.”
Founded in 1969, the firm operated as Essex Boatyards until December 2014, when it was rebranded as Boats.co.uk.
Colin Capewell, managing director of Princess Motor Yacht Sales, added: “This is a fantastic addition to our Princess network and gives us a ready-made platform to expand our coverage in territories rich in potential.”
Upcoming boat show appearances for the Princess range include the Palma Boat Show, Poole Boat Show, British Motor Yacht Show, Best of Yachting Adriano and the International Istanbul Boat Show.
