America recovers after Hurricane Sandy litters east coast with boats
Hurricane Sandy caused devastation to thousands of people,
leaving whole communities homeless and without basic amenities. The American
people have shown great spirit, however, helping their neighbours get back on
their feet. But as the clear up makes progress and something close to normal
life returns the streets still bear some unusual scars.
