Cheap berths for visitors to Yarmouth
Yarmouth (Isle of Wight) Harbour Commission have announced cheap berthing rates for visitors from March 16 to October 31 of this year.
Boats up to 9 metres in length can expect up to a £5.00 discount whilst those over 9 metres will receive £10.00 off the bill.
The rates apply to any of the moorings run by Yarmouth Harbour Commission and there is even a facility to book one of the 15 walk ashore pontoons through the Yarmouth Harbour Commission website.
Alternative berths will be allocated through a more traditional first come first served basis.
Harbour master Chris Lisher says: “We are very much aware of the current financial climate and decided not only to keep visitor mooring fees at the same level as 2008 but to offer discounts and attract visitors to the harbour.”
