Beneteau has announced that a new Swift Trawler 50 is to join its ever-expanding line-up of fast passage-makers.
With updated styling and the option of twin IPS600 power – a first for the range – the ST50 marks the next step in the Swift Trawler evolution.

Inside, the main living space is separated into a cockpit-level saloon to the rear and a helm station and small dinette up a few steps forward. Between the two sits the U-shaped galley, complete with serving hatch to the flybridge.
Down the dog-leg companionway is the midships owner’s cabin, which should get plenty of light from those new cabin windows, and a comfortable looking VIP forward.
At the bottom of the stairs owners face a choice of installing a twin bunk cabin or an office with small pilot berth above it. Owners can also spec a crew cabin in the transom.
A raised anchoring step on the foredeck, hi-lo bathing platform and a modular dinette that can convert into a watch berth all make this new 50-footer distinct from the rest of the line-up.
But it’s the option of IPS power that will turn the most heads, promising a more responsive and exciting driving experience.
The boat will be doing a tour of most of the major European boat shows this autumn, so if you miss it in Southampton, you’ll get a chance to climb on board in Cannes, Barcelona or Genoa.
