The French firm has announced two new additions to its smaller ranges in the firm of the Bénéteau Flyer 8.8 and Barracuda 8
Bénéteau has revealed details of two new upcoming models in the form of the Bénéteau Flyer 8.8 (pictured above) and Barracuda 8.
The new Flyer 8.8 expands the firm’s sportsboat range to 26ft and comes in both Spacedeck and Sundeck layouts.
Rated up to a maximum of 500hp, this dayboat should more than live up to its name in terms of flat-out performance.
Meanwhile, the Barracuda 8 (pictured below) is the latest model in the Bénéteau sportsfisher collection and will sit in between the Barracuda 7 and the Barracuda 9.
Capable of running on a twin 300hp outboard set-up, the new Barracuda will come with 285-litre fuel tanks as standard, although a 400-litre alternative can be added as an optional extra.
Bénéteau fans hoping to see the Barracuda 8 should head along to the La Rochelle Boat Show (September 16-21), while the Bénéteau Flyer 8.8 will go on display at the Paris Boat Show (December 5-13).
This announcement comes just days after Beneteau announced details of the Gran Turismo 40, which is due to be launched in September.
