New 490 Virtess to become the German yard's largest ever motor yacht
Fresh from its success at the Motor Boat of the Year Awards, Bavaria has announced that it will be adding a third boat to its Virtess range.
The 490 Fly – the yard’s biggest ever motor yacht – will hit the water this autumn, joining the award-winning Virtess 420 Fly and Virtess 420 Coupe.
The boat sticks closely to the design of the smaller 420 but gets much bigger hull windows, giving owners a superb view out from the master cabin.
In our test of the 420 we were struck by the level of innovation and detailing in the German yard’s first ever flybridge and we expect even more surprises from the 490.
The only power options Bavaria has released so far are twin ISP600s, which the company claims will see this 53-footer up to 30 knots.
