Courchevel skiers get a surprise
When you get off the ski lift at 2,000 metres, the last thing you expect to see is a motorboat.
So those visiting Courchevel this month may be scratching their heads over the presence of an Azimut 43S high up on the slopes.
The Italian manufacturers say: “An absolute first for a yacht – at nearly 2,000 meters above sea level.
“The Azimut 43S is the star and the symbol of the exclusiveness of this prestigious resort.
“The boat is choreographically included in the Alpine context: the yacht’s wake has been made by snow artists and sculptors to create the fascination of a yacht plowing through the waves of the sea…amid splendid snow-covered peaks.”
Thinking of how Azimut will get the boat down the mountain, we can’t help wondering, can 43ft motorboats take black runs?
