Latest hardtop pits Italian giant against Sealine SC35 and Sessa C35
Atlantis, the sportscruiser brand from Italian giant Azimut,
has been busy these last 12 months. Following the launch of the 58 and 38 comes
this new 34, suggesting a move into the mainstream and wake up call for the
likes of Sealine and Sessa.
Another partnership between Atlantis and Neo Design, the 34
comes with the same exterior styling as larger boats in the range, with some
aggressive, angular lines capped by a canvas hardtop roof. Below decks,
Atlantis is suggesting it has found plenty of extra volume but the 34 will be a
one-cabin boat, with an open plan main cabin and a separate master cabin
amidships. The main cabin will come with a V-shape dinette in the bows,
converting to a large double berth, and should enjoy plenty of light from those
long hull windows. The interior will come finished in oak cabinetry.
Power for the all-new 33ft hull design will come from a pair
of Volvo Penta’s new smooth-running 220hop D3 sterndrive diesels, with a
conservative 32-knot top speed predicted.
