The latest floating folly is modelled on the Formula One circuit at Monaco
Plans have been revealed for a bizarre superyacht whose design is modelled on the Monaco Grand Prix circuit. The upper deck of the 155m SWATH yacht will boast its own go-kart circuit, complete with Loews Hotel and tunnel complex, the Casino, Hotel de Paris, Café de Paris and La Rascasse.
Accomodation for the vessel’s owner will be located near the port bow in a replica of the Prince’s Palace, while the 3m deep main swimming pool incorporating a swim-in jacuzzi/bar to represent Port Hercule harbour. That it will have marble stairways and tree lined boulevards goes without saying, as does the large helicopter flight deck and tender parking area aft.
Streets of Monaco has been designed by Island Yacht Design and will carry 16 guests and a crew of 70. Diesel electric propulsion will give the yacht a top speed of 15 knots.
