MBY can reveal the first pictures of the new Azimut 45
The new Azimut 45 will be available with two or three cabins, run on shafts and, according to Azimut, be a ‘jewel in the flybridge collection’.

Azimut claim that the 45 will set a benchmark for usability when it hits the water later this year and we can only assume that they are referring to the boat’s flexible layout.
The standard two-cabin layout sees a master ensuite in the bow where light is allowed to flood the bathroom via the square ports.
There’s an ensuite VIP cabin amidships which has an offset double berth and also has the luxury of its own bathroom.
In the optional three-cabin guise the galley shrinks to allow for a twin bunk cabin which is served by the ensuite adjoined to the guest cabin.
Stefano Righini’s exterior has Azimut DNA coursing through it with its crescent-shaped saloon windows, the glazing forward and the signature squared off bow.
Tradition reigns below the waterline too where shaftdrives have been given the nod over a pod drive system. Azimut’s ‘easy docking’ system will be available though, which combines the propellers and bow thruster via a joystick.
Twin Cummins 480hp diesels provide the power and should see the 45 up to 32 knots.
