Can this new model add to the success of the SC35?
Sealine’s design revolution will take another step forward next year with the release of an all new sportscruiser, the SC42.
A fully animated walkthrough of the new model will be available at the upcoming Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show.
The SC42 is riddled with design cues from the SC35 and F42 flybridge, which is no bad thing and continues the cutting edge aesthetics that we have come to expect of the yard in recent times.
On deck, the onus is on opening up the full beam cockpit to the elements both through the retracting soft top and opening side windows.
There are four forward facing seats in the cockpit, ideal on long passages, as well as a wetbar and pop-up television.
Aft there is a slab of seating which can cater for ten diners through either one large table or two smaller separate ones.
Below deck, much like the F42, there is an ensuite master cabin in the bow and a versatile three berth cabin amidships which can sleep up to five and is adjacent to an impressive heads unit.
Engine options are yet to be revealed but there will be the choice of either sterndrives with or without a joystick or full Volvo Penta IPS pod drives.
