Bénéteau have announced they will launch the new model in their Swift Trawler range at the event in September
Bénéteau has announced the launch of a new Swift Trawler model, which will be premiered at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
Designed by Bénéteau Power in partnership with Andreani Design, the new 47ft model is the fifth in the brand’s Swift Trawler range.
Bénéteau’s latest Swift Trawler follows the design of the existing models, with its asymmetric deeply bulwarked starboard deck and its side access door, however this 47ft vessel is the first to have a more conventionally raked rather than upright windscreen.
Unlike the other Swift Trawlers in the range where the galley is inside the doors, the 47ft boasts an L-shaped one behind the central double helm, forward of the saloon.

Below deck there is the en suite master cabin forward with a separate shower room, and two twin and double berthed cabins for guests sharing a single heads.
The sofa bed in the saloon takes sleeping accommodation to eight if required.
The interior is available with classic teak or an oak finish
Outside, the bathing platform can be equipped with a hydraulic lift to allow dinghy launching and recovery and there is an optional hard top for a flybridge that extends right back to the transom to provide plenty of space on the upper deck plus shade for the cockpit.
Conventional shaft driven propellers are linked to a pair of Cummins 425hp diesel engines and although Bénéteau are yet to release performance or fuel consumption data, fuel capacity of almost 2,000 litres suggests the 47ft Swift Trawler can achieve long range.
