What you'll need to bring with you
We ask all participants to carry the following mandatory or advisable documentation:
- Passports for all crew
- The boat’s original Part I or Part III (Small Ships Register) Registration document
- Proof of the boat’s VAT status
- EHIC health cover card (formally the E111, available from Post Offices)
- Certificate of boat insurance (at least £2m third-party cover)
- Ship’s radio licence
- VHF operator’s certificate
- Manuals for all on-board systems
- Coastguard CG66 form (available from your nearest coastguard centre or harbour office)
