Victoria Marina, St Peter Port, Guernsey Position 49°27.31 N 002°32.6 W
Today the fleet has been exploring St Peter Port. The crews from Elinor B and Castaway took the ferry over to Herm Island, while others ventured around the town. Chris and Diana from Zanique were visiting relatives on the island, while Michelle and Philip from Illusion met up with Michelle’s parents who had flown in to see them. The young family from Rosie walked round to the beach at Havelet Bay and took a dip in the chilly saltwater swimming pool nestled among the rocks.
St Peter Port was bathed in the sunshine for most of the day but by late afternoon grey clouds had rolled in. A briefing was held in the rain on the pontoon regarding the scheduled move to Salcombe tomorrow. Unfortunately the weather isn’t looking good but the team will take a view on it early in the morning.
