Cruise participants take a well-earned rest in Guernsey before Liberation Day tomorrow
Another day and another group of boats fuelled. With no VAT in Guernsey, it is the perfect opportunity to make use of the super cheap fuel, plus the extra 4p a litre discount we managed to secure for all MBM cruising club boats.
Tonight is the group BBQ, which should be most enjoyable as always, plus tomorrow is Liberation Day. It is clearly going to be a big day for the island as the marina is littered with event companies setting up TVs, sound systems and marquees.
Yesterday we watched the Hill Climb racing, which started at the waterfront and proved to be popular with the cruising club guests.
